Ron Aggabao

Beginning his training on the classical piano at the age of 5, Ron grew up in a diverse musical family that constantly surrounded him with the works of the European masters, the rich traditions of American folk, and later the rock classics from his father’s eclectic record collection.  Falling in love with the music of the Beatles as a teenager, Ron quickly switched to the guitar and began honing the skills which would eventually enable him to study with the some of the top masters of the world, including David Russell and Manuel Barrueco.  After completing his studies in classical guitar and composition in Denver, CO, Ron spent several years touring the US as a lead guitarist for some of the country’s top world-music acts, eventually landing in southern California, where Ron currently keeps busy as a lead and solo guitarist, studio musician and instructor.
