Jonny Jyemo

drummer/percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, international recording artist.
Born in rural Missouri, it was either country or rock music.  Jonny chose to rock.  It wasn’t until the age of 19 that he discovered other types of music even existed.  Bob Marley and Tito Puente (R.I.P) opened the doors to the world and his soul.  From there it was a crash course in universal rhythms.  Jonny has traveled to many distant places studying music and absorbing the cultures that make it what it is.  A lifelong student/servant of musicality, Jyemo continues to seek and explore the common thread in humanity of gettin’ down.  Now he comes full circle back to his rockers roots with The Burned.
